We decided to use motor caps to hold our motors in place. They were inspired from Jess, who is one of our friends on a VEX U team. We designed our motor caps in Fusion 360 and printed them with our 3D printer. Motor caps benefit our robot design in several ways.

We created multiple versions of our motor cap design. First, we had a securing hole and zip tie holes for attaching. We modified this design by replace the zip tie holes with motor clips. In our third version, we removed the securing hole to save space.
